Carpinienne de Participations presents its annual results for 2023
The company Carpinienne de Participations published, on April 4, 2024, its results for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023. The financial year was marked by the abandonment of the principle of continuity of operation. This choice was motivated by the difficulties encountered by Finatis, its main shareholder, as well as by the situation of the company Foncière Euris, of which Carpinienne de Participations holds 5.14%.
The balance sheet for the year 2023 indicates a net loss of 1.23 million euros, a clear improvement compared to the loss of 15.91 million euros recorded in 2022. This difference is mainly explained by the reduction in depreciation on Foncière Euris securities and receivables and financial charges. Shareholders' equity amounted to -21.13 million euros as of December 31, 2023, compared to -19.90 million euros the previous year.
The company also revealed that it has been in suspension of payments since March 28, 2024 and has requested the opening of judicial liquidation proceedings. An audit report is currently being issued.
