Carrefour Appoints Marie-Laure Sauty de Chalon to Key Board Roles

Carrefour has announced a significant internal appointment to its Board of Directors. On February 19, 2025, the Board unanimously appointed Mrs. Marie-Laure Sauty de Chalon as Chair of the Audit Committee and Lead Independent Director, effective immediately. This follows a recommendation from the Governance Committee.

Mrs. Sauty de Chalon has been a member of Carrefour's Board since June 2017 and joined the Audit Committee in March 2023. Her experience is further bolstered by her role in the Audit Committee of the LVMH Group. Alexandre Bompard, Chairman and CEO, expressed confidence in her ability to contribute to the Board's effectiveness and operations.
