Carrefour Continues Share Buyback Program
On February 20, 2024, Carrefour Group launched a share buyback plan worth €700 million. Between March 4 and June 3, 2024, the company repurchased 29 million shares for a total of €428 million. This includes 4 million shares at an average price of €15.68 each and 25 million shares from Galfa for €365 million.
Today, Carrefour announced the signing of a new share buyback mandate with an investment service provider. The upcoming purchase period starts on June 18, 2024. The shares acquired will be reserved for future cancellation.
