Goldman Sachs reduces its stake in Casino Guichard-Perrachon
The Goldman Sachs group announced on January 10, 2025, that it had reduced its stake in the capital of Casino Guichard-Perrachon, crossing downwards the thresholds of 5% of the capital and voting rights, in accordance with Article L. 233-7 of the French Commercial Code. This declaration comes after an off-market sale of shares carried out on January 6, 2025. Goldman Sachs now indirectly holds 2,648,152 shares, or 0.66% of the capital and voting rights of Casino.
The decrease is mainly due to a securities loan with recall rights, involving 2,562,306 shares. In addition, 355 shares are held via a swap agreement. These transactions allow Goldman Sachs to recall the shares at any time before February 16, 2026.
