CCTV+ Hosts 13th Global Video Media Forum in Xi'an
The 13th Global Video Media Forum took place in Xi'an, China, focusing on amplifying the voices of the Global South. The event, themed "Building Consensus for Shared Benefits: Media's Role in Global Governance," gathered over 300 guests including international media leaders from 40 countries and regions, and was co-sponsored by several Chinese media organizations.
The forum marked the inauguration of the Global South Media Partners Mechanism, aimed at deepening media collaboration among Global South countries. This initiative already includes 528 media organizations across 114 countries, promoting equal consultation and common development.
Notable political figures extended congratulations, highlighting the initiative as a significant step towards enhancing the discourse power of the Global South. Discussions at the forum emphasized the media's role in global governance and the importance of media collaborations.
