Cellbox Solutions Secures EUR 5 Million in Series A Financing
Cellbox Solutions, a warm-chain logistics company based in Cologne, Germany, has finalized its Series A funding, raising a total of EUR 5 million. This round, which follows an initial closing of EUR 3.5 million in March 2026, includes new investors such as Baltic Business Angels Invest GmbH and a Canadian family office. The funding will be used to expand the company's offerings in warm-chain logistics and enhance international market presence.
The company aims to leverage this financial boost to scale its commercial model and integrate its Cellbox™ systems with rental and monitoring services, fostering longer-term customer relationships. These systems facilitate the controlled temperature transport of delicate biological materials, crucial in research and cell therapy.
With over 400 units already deployed globally, Cellbox Solutions plans to broaden its activities in Europe, Asia, and North America. CEO Prof. Dr. Kathrin Adlkofer highlighted the foundation built for controlled transport and the intention to translate this into sustainable commercial growth.
