Central Coast Cooling, LLC, a subsidiary of Post Harvest Technologies, Inc., has appointed Rick Russo as its new president. Operating from Salinas, CA, this move was announced on March 4, 2024. Russo brings extensive experience in the fresh produce industry, particularly in sales, marketing, and project management, to his new role at the company.

Russo is set to lead Central Coast Cooling in its plans for national expansion. His responsibilities will include driving growth through strategic acquisitions and enhancing market share in 3PL services, among others. Before joining Central Coast Cooling, Russo held senior positions at Church Brothers Farms and Mann Packing Company. With 35 years of industry experience, he is known for his skills in strategic business development, team building, and financial management. Central Coast Cooling, recognized for its exemplary service in pre-cooling, cold storage, and logistics, aims to further cement its standing both regionally and nationally under Russo’s leadership.
