Centrotherm Reports Stable First Half of 2024 and Confirms Forecast
Centrotherm International AG reports satisfactory business performance for the first half of 2024, aligning with internal forecasts. New orders reached EUR 86.9 million, down from EUR 113.2 million in 2023. The semiconductor sector contributed 85% of these, while the photovoltaic industry increased its share to 14%.
Revenues totaled EUR 56.7 million, slightly below last year’s EUR 60.1 million. International sales decreased, representing 81.4% of total sales, with Asia as the main market. Domestic sales rose from EUR 5.5 million to EUR 10.6 million. Total operating performance increased significantly to EUR 142.6 million. However, EBITDA dropped to EUR 3.4 million from EUR 5.0 million, while profit fell to EUR 1.3 million.
The Management Board maintains its full-year forecast, expecting operating revenue of EUR 200-300 million and positive EBITDA in the low double-digit million euro range.
