Cerrado Gold Commences Underground Operations at Minera Don Nicolas

Cerrado Gold Inc. has initiated underground operations at its Minera Don Nicolas mine in Argentina. The company completed the first blast to commence portal construction, marking a key advancement under the Paloma pit. Production from these operations is projected to contribute from June and increase in Q3 2025, with steady output expected by October. Cerrado has also launched a 20,000-meter open pit exploration drilling program primarily targeting near-surface, high-grade deposits.

This development signifies a significant milestone, enhancing Cerrado's ability to produce from various operational fronts including open pit, heap leach, and underground. The drilling program aspires to expand potential resources around the Las Calandrias project, supporting additional feed for the carbon in leach plant.
