CEWE Announces Dividend Increase for the Fifteenth Consecutive Year
CEWE Stiftung & Co. KGaA, a prominent figure in the SDAX index, has declared its intention to propose a dividend increase for the fifteenth consecutive year, revealing a strong performance in the financial year of 2023. The company plans to increase the dividend to 2.60 euros per share, up from 2.45 euros the previous year. This decision is based on preliminary, unaudited figures which indicate a significant uptick in both turnover and EBIT. CEWE reports a turnover of 780.2 million euros for 2023, marking an increase from 732.7 million euros in 2022. Similarly, EBIT has risen to 83.9 million euros from 75.6 million euros in the prior year.
The proposal for the dividend increase will be presented at the Annual General Meeting for approval, following the endorsement by the Supervisory Board. If approved, the newly proposed dividend represents a yield of 2.6% based on the year-end share price of 101.20 euros for 2023. This step not only reinforces CEWE's commitment to its shareholders but also solidifies its position among the top dividend-increasing companies in Germany. The full, audited financial statements will be disclosed at an upcoming Press and Analysts' Conference on March 22, 2024.
