Change of direction for Focus Entertainment which becomes Pullup Entertainment
The Focus Entertainment group has announced a significant name change to become Pullup Entertainment from April 1, 2024. This new name, approved by shareholders, is accompanied by a major reorganization aimed at supporting the group's development ambitions.
At the same time, an internal restructuring was carried out with the spin-off of the Publishing activity, now entrusted to Focus Entertainment Développement, a 100%-owned entity. This operation will take effect at the same time as the name change.
The group has also reshaped its organization around three complementary areas of activity including the areas of AA and independent video game publishing, as well as creation via seven development studios. The arrival of Geoffroy Sardin, ex-Ubisoft Entertainment, as deputy general manager last January, foreshadowed this development.
The report also highlights the integration of the company ScripTeam, specialized in the audiovisual adaptation of the group's licenses, affirming Focus' desire to diversify its activities beyond video games.
The 2023/24 financial year looks promising with several important launches including the game "Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden" and "Expeditions: A MudRunner Game", the latter being developed by Saber Interactive.
