Change to Group Management Announced by Arbonia AG
Arbonia AG disclosed a significant restructuring in their Group Management slated after the sale of their Climate Division. This decision aligns with the company's strategic focus on its doors business. Daniel Wüest, serving as the Group CFO since April 2019, will resign to pursue other professional opportunities following the closure of the transaction. Wüest has been instrumental in numerous corporate activities including major acquisitions and the sale of divisions, enhancing Arbonia's financial and sustainability reporting.
Alexander von Witzleben, Executive Chairman, expressed gratitude towards Wüest for his contributions, particularly in transitioning Arbonia towards a concentration on the doors business. His leadership in finance and strategy was pivotal in securing the company's direction and funding.
The company plans to unveil further details regarding its management structure focusing on the doors business by Autumn 2024 during the Capital Markets Day. Until his departure at the end of September 2024, Wüest will continue to oversee the Climate Division's sale and related financial strategies.
