Changes in Finnvera's Board of Directors

On December 4, 2024, Finnvera Oyj, a state-owned Finnish financing company, announced noteworthy changes to its Board of Directors. The State of Finland, the sole shareholder, alongside the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, appointed Jan Vapaavuori as the new Chairman. Pia Santavirta, the CEO of Finnish Industry Investment Ltd., joins as a new member.

Existing board members Jan Hjelt and Mikko Spolander will continue as First and Second Vice Chairs, respectively. Other board members, including Hannu Jaatinen, Eila Kreivi, Anne Nurminen, and Elina Piispanen, will maintain their positions. These changes took effect on December 4, 2024, and extend until the 2025 Annual General Meeting. Former Chairman Petri Ekman and member Petri Viertiö have resigned.
