CHAPTERS Group AG Acquires Full Ownership of Ookam Software GmbH
CHAPTERS Group AG has increased its stake in the VMS-platform Ookam Software GmbH from 80% to 100%. Founded in 2019 by Steffen von Bünau and Niels Reinhard, Ookam Software has grown significantly, acquiring 23 companies in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. The team has expanded, establishing sub-platforms in various industry clusters.
Jan Mohr, CEO, and Marlene Carl, CFO, expressed satisfaction with the progress and highlighted plans for organic and acquisitive growth within established clusters. They also noted the potential for additional debt financing to support future growth.
COO Marc Maurer emphasized continuing the growth initiated by the founders and focusing on organic growth and best practices. Steffen von Bünau and Niels Reinhard expressed gratitude for the support received, acknowledging CHAPTERS Group as an excellent partner.
The transaction was completed last week, with the purchase price undisclosed.
