Chargeurs to Acquire Strategic Assets of Swiss Company Cilander

Chargeurs PCC Fashion Technologies (CFT PCC) has announced a binding offer to acquire key business activities of the Swiss company Cilander. These activities represent an annual revenue of approximately €20 million. The acquisition is expected to strengthen CFT PCC's global leadership in high-end textile applications, particularly in fashion, military, and mobility sectors.

Cilander, established in 1814, is known for its expertise in textile surfaces and finishing technologies. The acquisition includes Cilander's historic factory, Geissbühler, which has been operational since 1677. This site is vital for finishing high-tech textile solutions aimed at demanding markets such as military and interior design.

The agreement also encompasses the acquisition of the ALUMO brand, recognized for offering high-quality cotton fabrics for men's shirts, and the Eugster & Huber brand, aimed at women's fashion. Additionally, Brennet and Swiss Ghutra brands specializing in high-end fabrics are part of the deal.

Gianluca Tanzi, Managing Director of Chargeurs PCC Fashion Technologies, emphasized that this acquisition will redefine standards in the textile industry. The deal aligns with CFT PCC's growth strategy to expand its product portfolio and penetrate new niche markets, fostering synergies between French and Swiss excellence.
