Churchill Reports Polymetallic Vein Discovery at Pomley Cove Pond
Churchill Resources Inc. has revealed drilling intercepts at Pomley Cove Pond, part of its Black Raven Project in Newfoundland, identifying a polymetallic vein swarm containing gold, silver, lead, zinc, and molybdenum. Initial drill holes, PC25-01 and PC25-02, intersected 20 veins within a 150m wide zone.
Highlights include drill hole PC25-01, revealing 4.77 g/t gold and high silver, lead, and zinc grades, and PC25-02, demonstrating 9.17 g/t gold equivalent. Churchill plans to extend these holes, aiming for deeper targets and broader exploration.
Churchill's President Paul Sobie remarked that Pomley Cove Pond may indicate a large-scale polymetallic system. Continued exploration targets include trenching and additional drilling at Pomley Cove, Frost Cove, and Taylor's Room.
