Cicor Expands Market Presence in Germany with Profectus Acquisition

Cicor Group has signed an agreement to acquire Profectus GmbH, a German EMS service provider. This move aligns with Cicor's growth strategy in Europe's largest electronics market. Profectus, based in Thuringia, specializes in electronic modules and systems for sectors like industrial electronics and medical technology. The company employs around 90 people and recorded sales of approximately EUR 25 million last year.

This acquisition is expected to finalize in early 2025, following regulatory approvals. Current Profectus owners are optimistic about growth opportunities within Cicor, which plans to maintain the Suhl site and retain existing staff. This strategic acquisition aims to make Cicor a leading pan-European development and manufacturing service provider.
