Cicor strengthens its position in the Medtech sector with the acquisition of Evolution Medtec

Cicor Technologies announces the acquisition of Evolution Medtec Srl, marking a significant expansion of its engineering capabilities in the medical technology sector. Based in Romania, Evolution Medtec specializes in engineering services, particularly for medical and paramedical applications, and currently employs 25 people in Bucharest.

Active for 20 years in development and prototyping for the medtech sector, Evolution Medtec has generated sales in the lower range of one million euros, with an EBITDA margin comparable to that of the Cicor group. This acquisition allows Cicor to strengthen its engineering skills and production capacity, thus consolidating its position in the strategic medical market. Cicor will continue to operate the Evolution Medtec site while maintaining the current management team.

By adding Evolution Medtec to its recent acquisitions, Cicor creates one of the most robust R&D platforms in the European electronic manufacturing services industry, doubling its resources for the development of advanced electronic solutions for the medical, industrial, aerospace and defense.
