Cicor Secures CHF 425 Million Credit Facilities for Growth

Cicor Group has finalized a CHF 425 million unsecured term and revolving credit facilities agreement, ahead of the previous maturity set for autumn 2027. This new agreement broadens Cicor’s banking consortium and forms part of a flexible financing platform supporting its next growth phase.

The financing was organized by Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft and Landesbank Baden-Württemberg as lead arrangers, with other banks including HSBC and BNP Paribas joining. Cicor noted high interest from the banking sector, with commitments surpassing the targeted CHF 425 million, bolstered by trust in Cicor’s strategic direction and financial performance.

The agreement comprises three facilities: a CHF 150 million multicurrency revolving loan, a CHF 125 million term loan repayable over five years, and a CHF 150 million acquisition term loan. An additional uncommitted CHF 120 million term loan is also available under certain conditions. Cicor anticipates nearly CHF 300 million in available financing capacity post-refinancing, enabling acquisitions, organic growth, and working capital expansion without increasing net debt.

Improved loan pricing reflects Cicor's enhanced financial health, with terms including a maximum net leverage ratio of 3.0x and a minimum interest-coverage ratio of 6.0x. The extended 4-year loan duration, plus two optional one-year extensions, provide a robust financial base for Cicor’s ongoing strategic initiatives in the electronic solutions sector.
