Circus Group Signs Preliminary Agreement to Deploy Food Robots for Refugee Centres
Circus SE has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with FOOD.LOVE.CATERING (FLC Group) for the supply of 100 food production robots to serve refugee accommodation centres. The potential revenue from this collaboration is estimated at EUR 20 million over the next few years.
The partnership will introduce Circus Group’s "Circus Autonomy One" (CA-1) robots in Germany, commencing with a beta phase in 2025. A single CA-1 unit will be deployed and tested initially. Following successful validation, up to 100 robots will be rolled out across multiple kitchen hubs.
FLC Group, which serves over 150,000 meals monthly to refugee accommodations, will leverage the advanced AI and robotics technology of CA-1 robots. Each unit can produce up to 2,000 freshly prepared meals per day in a compact 7-square-meter space, enhancing efficiency and food service delivery.
"We’re excited to partner with FLC Group in this impactful collaboration," said Nikolas Bullwinkel, CEO of Circus Group. The partnership aims for equitable access to nutritious meals and substantial improvements in socially critical settings.
