Circus SE Plans Acquisition to Enhance AI Capabilities

Circus SE, a leader in AI and autonomous robotics for the food service sector, has announced its intention to acquire Campo Group, a German AI-software provider. This acquisition will be realized through a capital increase in kind. The goal is to integrate Campo's AI-based platform into Circus's technology, thereby extending their automation capabilities.

Campo Group specializes in robotics and AI-driven solutions in the retail and mobility sectors. Its platform has been successfully deployed by major clients, facilitating unmanned retail services. The integration of Campo's technology is expected to support Circus's vision of full autonomy in the food service industry.

Carlo Caldi, Managing Director of Campo, will join Circus's management team. Caldi's expertise in the mobility service sector promises to aid Circus's expansion efforts in Europe. The acquisition is subject to final agreements and is anticipated to close within 8-10 weeks, with YPOG and Heuking acting as legal advisors.
