CLIQ Digital AG Adjusts 2024 Financial Outlook Following Q1 Results

DÜSSELDORF, May 6, 2024 – CLIQ Digital AG, a leading digital media company, has revised its financial forecast for 2024 based on preliminary results for the first quarter. The company now anticipates 2024 revenues to be in the range of €300 million to €330 million, down from the previously projected €360 million to €380 million. The revised EBITDA expectations are set between €26 million and €30 million, a significant reduction from the earlier estimates of €52 million to €58 million.

The revised forecast follows a decrease in the company's quarter-on-quarter revenue by 13% to €73.0 million in the first quarter of 2024, compared to €84.1 million in the final quarter of 2023. Year-on-year revenues also declined by 12% from €82.9 million in the first quarter of 2023. EBITDA for this period, before special items, stood at €5.3 million, dropping from €12.8 million a year earlier. After accounting for special items related to transformation and tax optimisation efforts, EBITDA further contracted to €1.9 million.
