CMTA Welcomes Patricia Verduin, PhD, to Board of Directors

The Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA) announced the appointment of Patricia Verduin, PhD, to its Board of Directors. Verduin, a seasoned expert in science, technology, and sustainability, brings a wealth of experience from her roles in multiple Fortune 500 companies, including her significant tenure as Chief Science Officer at Colgate Palmolive. This appointment aims to further strengthen CMTA’s leadership in research and support for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT).

With her impressive background, combining technical expertise and business acumen, Verduin is set to enhance CMTA’s efforts in accelerating research and improving support within the CMT community. “I am honored to join CMTA's Board of Directors," said Verduin. She expressed her eagerness to contribute to the organization's mission of advancing research and enhancing the quality of life for those affected by CMT.
