CNP Assurances Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Banco de Brasília
CNP Consórcio and CNP Capitalização, subsidiaries of CNP Assurances under the CNP Seguradora brand in Brazil, have signed an exclusive 20-year distribution agreement with Banco de Brasília (BRB). This partnership will allow Banco de Brasília to distribute CNP's consortium and capitalization products to its 7.8 million customers.
This agreement aligns with CNP Assurances' ambition to expand its presence in Brazil. The company, Brazil’s third-largest insurer, leverages both a long-standing partnership with Caixa Econômica Federal and an open model utilizing CNP Seguradora's wholly-owned subsidiaries to distribute various insurance products.
The deal's closure is subject to typical conditions, including Brazilian antitrust approval.
