Cognizant to Acquire 3Cloud, Enhancing Microsoft Azure Capabilities

Cognizant Technology Solutions has announced its agreement to acquire 3Cloud, a major player in Microsoft Azure services. This acquisition aims to bolster Cognizant's role in enterprise AI and digital transformation by integrating 3Cloud's expertise in Azure, data, and app innovation.

The acquisition will expand Cognizant’s Azure portfolio, adding over 1,000 Azure specialists. 3Cloud’s experience in various sectors, including finance and healthcare, will support Cognizant's strategy to empower clients with AI-led transformations.

Cognizant’s CEO Ravi Kumar S emphasized the strategic importance of the acquisition for advancing clients’ AI capabilities. The deal, set to close in early 2026, will also include the expertise of nearly 1,200 3Cloud employees joining Cognizant’s ranks.
