CNTE Delivers Energy Storage Solution to Agrosuper's Chilean Plant

Contemporary Nebula Technology Energy (CNTE) announced the delivery of a 6.9MW/14.9MWh battery energy storage system to Agrosuper's San Vicente Plant in Chile's O'Higgins Region. This system aims to support peak shaving and load shifting, storing electricity when demand is low and discharging during peak times. This strategy helps the plant optimize electricity usage, lower peak-demand costs, and reduce grid pressure.

The storage solution offers backup power for critical loads, ensuring continuity in food processing activities like production and refrigeration. With its capacity, the system quickly adapts to changing electricity demands, enhancing power reliability and minimizing risks from grid disruptions or outages.

This project highlights the increasing use of battery energy storage in Chile's industrial sector, where businesses aim to manage costs, improve power quality, and boost operational resilience. It enhances CNTE's presence in Latin America, particularly in supporting sectors like mining and manufacturing in their quest for flexible energy solutions.
