CNTE Advances Industrial Energy Sustainability in Schwabmünchen

Contemporary Nebula Technology Energy Co., Ltd. (CNTE) recently launched a 700kW/1,624kWh battery energy storage system in Schwabmünchen, Germany. This initiative integrates the factory's solar array, diesel generator, and grid connection into a hybrid energy system.

The system addresses challenges like surplus solar energy waste, inefficient diesel use, and maintenance costs while ensuring continuous power. The installation includes seven STAR-H liquid-cooled storage units controlled by an Energy Management System (EMS) that optimizes energy use.

A key advantage is enhanced solar energy consumption, reducing grid reliance and generating potential annual savings of €27,000 from additional solar utilization. The system cuts diesel reliance during power outages, with projected savings of around 254 liters in fuel for a two-hour power disruption.

This project exemplifies how industries can enhance sustainability by leveraging existing energy investments, boosting economic value and reducing fossil fuel usage without redesigning power systems.
