Core Assets Drills 11.8M of Massive Zn-Cu-Ag Sulphide at Silver Lime

Core Assets Corp. has announced significant exploration results from its Silver Lime Project in the Atlin Mining District of NW British Columbia. The company completed 2,014 meters of diamond drilling across three locations in 2024. Most notably, drill hole SLM24-061 intersected an 11.8-meter continuous zone of sphalerite-rich (Zn) massive sulphide exoskarn mineralization.

The drilling program aimed to test the near-surface and high-grade Zinc Skarn Showing at the Sulphide City - Whaleback Target. Additionally, core from Sulphide City Porphyry showed disseminated to locally semi-massive sphalerite-chalcopyrite-galena-bearing skarn alteration from surface to approximately 450 meters depth.

Core Assets also reported ongoing drilling efforts, including hole SLM24-063 designed to test porphyry mineralization potential at depths greater than 1,000 meters. Six diamond drill holes have been completed at the Silver Lime Project in 2024, with a projected additional 3,000 meters of diamond drilling underway.

The company's President & CEO, Nick Rodway, emphasized the successful identification of the northern mineralized skarn boundary to the porphyry system and noted continuous diamond drilling at the project site.
