Corporation Métaux Précieux du Québec announces promising results for the La Pointe Extension deposit

Corporation Métaux Précieux du Québec (QPM) recently published the results of its latest drilling campaign at the La Pointe Extension deposit, located on the Sakami project in Quebec. Drill holes PT-21-196 and PT-21-197 revealed gold grades of respectively 0.83 g/t over 80.4 m and 1.18 g/t over 43.2 m, demonstrating the presence of a high-grade core and continuity of mineralization.

Normand Champigny, CEO of QPM, says he is encouraged by these discoveries, which confirm the potential for open-pit mining of the deposit. The campaign also expanded the mineralized zone, supporting the company's future drilling strategy.

The sampling method and quality control were rigorously conducted, with the insertion of QA/QC materials into the sample stream to ensure the reliability of the analyses. Supervision of the drilling program was provided by GeoVector Management Inc., and drilling was carried out by Forage Val d'Or.

The results of these drillings offer an optimistic outlook for the future development of the Sakami project, strengthening QPM's position in the Eeyou Istchee Baie-James territory, a region recognized for its geological potential.
