Crédit Agricole Assurances Successfully Sells Française des Jeux Shares
Crédit Agricole Assurances (CAA) announced the successful sale of 4,073,436 ordinary shares of Française des Jeux (FDJ), representing approximately 2.2% of the company's share capital. These shares were sold through an accelerated bookbuilding process exclusively to institutional investors.
The shares were priced at €36.60 each. Following this transaction, CAA retains approximately 3.3% of FDJ's share capital and 4.5% of its voting rights, maintaining a position on the board of directors. Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank served as the sole Global Coordinator and Bookrunner for the transaction.
CAA has agreed to a 90-day lock-up period on the remaining shares it holds. The settlement for this placement is set for 22 November 2024. The sale aligns with CAA's strategy of optimizing its investment portfolio.
