Critical Elements Lithium Reports High-Grade Lithium Intercepts at Rose West
MONTRÉAL, QC / ACCESSWIRE / April 15, 2024 - Critical Elements Lithium Corporation (TSX-V:CRE)(OTCQX:CRECF)(FSE:F12), announced new results from its 2024 winter drilling at the Rose West Discovery, part of their extensive Québec portfolio. Drilling confirmed a substantial pegmatite body rich in lithium, with intersections up to 40.40 meters carrying 1.31% Li2O and 235 ppm Ta2O5.
The 31-hole, 3,670-meter drill program identified multiple wide lithium-bearing pegmatites, revealing significant concentrations. High-grade assays include 2.22% Li2O over 20.30 meters and 2.34% Li2O over 7.50 meters. Continued exploration is set to follow, aiming to expand the known mineralized zones.
Rose West is ideally located within a strategic holding in Québec, occupying only 38% of Critical Elements’ 1,050 km2 prospecting area. The company emphasized that the positive results validate their exploration models and underpin future exploration work.
CEO Jean-Sébastien Lavallée highlighted the efficacy of the ongoing exploration strategies and the company's commitment to advancing its projects with minimal shareholder dilution. Furthermore, the discovery of high-grade tantalum in an aplite dyke presents a new avenue for investigation.
