CYBERGUN explores solutions to save its subsidiary VERNEY-CARRON
CYBERGUN provided an overview of the progress made regarding its financially struggling subsidiary VERNEY-CARRON. The company expressed its gratitude for the support received from various sectors in France and Europe, emphasizing the importance of rescuing this historic company. Discussions with the Ministry of the Economy failed to materialize aid from the Economic and Social Development Fund (FDES), which was deemed inadequate. CYBERGUN is considering other avenues, such as tax debt forgiveness.
To meet the €4.5 million need, the mayor of Saint-Etienne proposed that the city purchase the VERNEY-CARRON premises for €2 million. At the same time, 11 elected officials requested a re-evaluation of the VERNEY-CARRON project from the relevant ministers.
