Daimler Truck Revises 2025 Outlook in Light of Market Uncertainties
Leinfelden-Echterdingen-based Daimler Truck Holding AG revises its 2025 outlook, adjusting projections for North America's heavy-duty Class 8 market due to market uncertainties. The company now anticipates sales between 260,000 and 290,000 units, down from the initial 280,000 to 320,000 units. For Trucks North America, sales expectations drop to 155,000-175,000 units from 180,000-200,000 units, though profitability remains forecast between 11% and 13%.
The Group's adjusted EBIT expectations have been revised. Previously placed between +5% to +15%, it now ranges from -5% to +5% year-over-year. Industrial Business revenues are adjusted to €48-€51 billion, down from €52-€54 billion. Despite these reductions, the Group retains an optimistic operational stability forecast for 2025 compared to 2024, aiming for an adjusted Return on Sales between 8% and 10%.
