Daldrup & Söhne AG Secures Major Contract with ATW
Daldrup & Söhne AG has announced the acquisition of a significant contract in the geothermal sector. The company, headquartered in Germany, secured a double-digit million Euro contract valued at approximately EUR 16.8 million. This agreement, awarded by Amperland Thermalwärme GmbH (ATW), involves drilling two deep geothermal wells. These wells are located at the Geiselbullach cogeneration plant near Munich. The drilling project will commence in December 2025 and is expected to complete by May 2026.
The new contract has prompted Daldrup to revise its financial forecasts for 2026. Estimated sales have been increased to EUR 88.7 million, up from the previous forecast of EUR 73.7 million. The estimated EBIT has also risen to EUR 12.3 million from EUR 8.7 million. The proximity of the project to existing operations is expected to bring cost benefits.
Additionally, ATW has secured an EUR 8.8 million grant from the Federal Government's Effective Heating Networks program to support this project. Daldrup is currently engaging with other potential municipal and private clients, aiming to expand their services further.
