Daldrup & Söhne AG Secures EUR 3 Million in Research Drilling Contracts

Daldrup & Söhne AG has been awarded two significant research drilling contracts valued at a total of EUR 3 million. The contracts were granted by the Geological Service of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. They emphasize the importance of geothermal energy exploration in Germany.

The first project, commissioned by the Geological Service NRW, involves a research well in Krefeld to explore the geothermal potential of Carboniferous limestones. Execution is planned between February and May 2025. Meanwhile, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology has enlisted Daldrup for drilling in Grasellenbach, Hessen, to support research on crystalline reservoirs for geothermal energy.

These contracts underline Daldrup's role as a key player in geothermal technology, promising advancements in the sustainable energy sector.
