Dallas Stars and APMC Pioneer Game-Changing VICTORY+ Sports Network

The Dallas Stars have entered a seven-year partnership with A Parent Media Co. Inc. (APMC) to stream regional Stars games for free starting in the 2024-25 season. These games will be available on VICTORY+, a new streaming service created by APMC and the Dallas Stars. This platform aims to revolutionize sports broadcasting.

Dallas Stars President and CEO Brad Alberts highlighted the extensive research and planning behind the initiative. VICTORY+ will allow fans to stream all Stars content for free, marking a significant shift from traditional sports distribution networks.

VICTORY+ will be accessible on smart TVs, tablets, and smartphones starting September 2024. It will primarily serve fans in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas, but will also offer additional content to fans outside these regions.

The service will be ad-supported, providing an enhanced viewing experience with low latency and high ad-fill rates. APMC’s Safe Exchange™ ad-tech solution will support both direct and programmatic ads, ensuring seamless monetization and advertiser engagement.

Neil Gruninger, APMC President and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about extending their digital expertise to sports broadcasting. Jason Walsh, former FOX Sports Executive Producer, will lead VICTORY+, aiming to expand the service to include more professional sports teams.
