Damartex announces its financial results for the first nine months of the 2023/2024 financial year
Damartex has published its turnover for the first nine months of the 2023/2024 financial year, showing a total of 423.9 million euros, marking a decrease of 9.8% compared to the previous year. Despite a difficult economic environment characterized by persistent inflation and a reduction in purchasing power, the group maintains its rigorous strategy.
The fashion sector, the main contributor to the group's revenues, recorded a turnover of 324.0 million euros, down 8.4%. Among the brands in this division, Xandres stood out with growth of 5.3%, highlighting its success in the affordable luxury segment. On the other hand, the activity of the "Home & Lifestyle" division suffered a more pronounced drop of 12.3%, in particular due to the mixed performance of Coopers of Stortford in a tense economic context in the United Kingdom.
“Healthcare”, which includes health services, saw its turnover fall by 19.5% to 25.1 million euros. Despite some positive performances, the segment is currently affected by operational integration challenges.
While facing these challenges, Damartex continues to implement its strategic plan "Dare.Act.Impact 2026", aimed at improving the customer experience and modernizing the image of its brands, while accentuating cost reduction. .
