Daniel Borel Proposes Guy Gecht for Logitech Chairperson

APPLES, Switzerland, August 5, 2024 – Daniel Borel, Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Logitech International S.A., has issued a letter to Logitech shareholders proposing Guy Gecht as Chairperson of the Board at the 2024 AGM.

Borel believes that shareholders should have a say in choosing the Chairperson, rather than accepting the Board's sole candidate. He argues that Gecht, with five years on the Board and extensive high-tech industry knowledge, is better suited than the current Chairperson, Wendy Becker, who plans to leave after the 2025 AGM.

Borel highlights the challenges faced in having his proposal included on the agenda, necessitating a court ruling. He also points out that Logitech's proxy statement contains inaccuracies and omits material facts about Gecht's willingness to serve.

He encourages shareholders to critically evaluate the misinformation and exercise their right to freely choose the Chairperson, as guaranteed by Swiss corporate law under the "Minder Initiative." Borel stresses that shareholders should not let falsehoods compromise Logitech's future.
