DATAGROUP Achieves BSI Certification for DefenseCloud

Pliezhausen, 17 December 2024: DATAGROUP IT Services Holding AG has become the first company in Germany to receive the ISO 27001 certification from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for its Managed Private VS-NfD DefenseCloud. This certification guarantees that the company meets comprehensive security standards and fulfills specific requirements for sectors such as aerospace, defense, and critical infrastructure (KRITIS).

The DefenseCloud is designed to protect confidential VS-NfD level data, marking DATAGROUP as a pioneer in fully certified cloud services in the fields of cloud, AI, and cybersecurity. The award ceremony occurred on 12 December 2024, highlighting DATAGROUP's adherence to high IT security standards.

This managed private cloud targets the defense, aerospace industries, KRITIS, and public authorities, offering robust data security solutions. Andreas Baresel, CEO of DATAGROUP, emphasized the certification's role in adding value for customers in these high-demand sectors.
