DATAGROUP Extends IT Partnership with Messe München and Boosts Cyber Security

Pliezhausen, 25 July 2024. DATAGROUP has extended its IT partnership with Messe München, focusing on enhanced cyber security services. The five-year contract, valued in the double-digit millions, strengthens the collaboration that began in 2019.

Under this agreement, DATAGROUP will provide comprehensive security solutions, including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and 24-hour on-call services. This complements earlier services like Vulnerability Management Systems (VMS) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).

The extended partnership also incorporates the implementation of CORBOX in existing data centers on site, matching the performance of DATAGROUP's Frankfurt data center. Andreas Baresel, CEO of DATAGROUP, emphasized the company's dedication to improving IT security standards.

Christian Grodau, COO of Messe München, highlighted that this expansion aims to enhance the protection level of their digital infrastructure. The partnership covers the entire server infrastructure, application management, and end-user services, supporting around 650 employees.
