DATAGROUP Partners with Kubus IT to Deliver Workplace Services
DATAGROUP has announced a new collaboration with kubus IT, the IT service provider for AOK Bavaria and AOK PLUS. This partnership involves a substantial contract in the double-digit million euros range to deliver services for over 17,000 workplaces.
Kubus IT, based in Bayreuth, has provided IT services to AOK Bavaria and AOK PLUS since 2008. The new partnership will see DATAGROUP manage workplace infrastructure at over 350 locations in Bavaria, Saxony, and Thuringia. Responsibilities include installation, migration, hardware management, and additional services like storage, asset management, and repairs.
The transition phase begins in fall 2024, with operations officially starting in January 2025 for a 48-month term. DATAGROUP's CEO, Andreas Baresel, highlighted the contract as part of a growing demand for their CORBOX Workplace Management services.
