Pliezhausen, 23 May 2024. DATAGROUP SE has released its financial results for Q2 and H1 of 2023/2024, showing a 5.7% revenue increase year-over-year for the second quarter, and a modest rise for the half-year. The company's earnings reflect ongoing investments in AI, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies. The delivery of more than EUR 21 million in orders from 21 new CORBOX customers highlights robust business performance.

Total revenue in Q2 reached EUR 127.7 million compared to EUR 120.8 million last year, while the half-year revenue was EUR 248.7 million, slightly up from EUR 247.1 million. Gross profit also saw a 6.6% rise, hitting EUR 91.8 million. Recent acquisitions, including ISC and IT service provider iT TOTAL, align with DATAGROUP's focus on becoming a comprehensive IT service provider. The company's balance sheet reported a total of EUR 490.9 million, up from EUR 465.3 million last fiscal year, with an increase in net debt attributed to acquisitions and dividend payments.

Despite an EBITDA of EUR 38.1 million and an EBITDA margin of 15.3%, earnings fell slightly below last year's figures due to scheduled investments. The company's steady dividend policy saw a distribution of EUR 1.50 per share. DATAGROUP remains optimistic about its FY 2023/2024 outlook, maintaining revenue guidance of EUR 510-530 million and expected EBITDA of EUR 77-81 million.
