DELFINGEN INDUSTRY and Plastic Odyssey: taking action against plastic pollution in the Philippines

The DELFINGEN Foundation, in collaboration with Plastic Odyssey, is launching an ambitious project to combat plastic pollution in the Philippines. Two micro-factories will be installed in Cavite/Manila and Cebu to recycle plastic waste by increasing its transformation into new materials. These initiatives are part of a two-year partnership aimed at raising awareness and supporting local entrepreneurs in recycling abandoned plastics.

Plastic Odyssey, known for its global expedition of recycling solutions, supports this project with its expertise. In addition to the installation of the micro-factories, training sessions on entrepreneurship and plastic waste management will be offered. A particular focus will be placed on awareness-raising actions for coastal communities, essential to reduce plastic pollution at its source.
