Derichebourg Achieves Notable Improvement in First-Half 2024-2025 Results

Derichebourg reported a 14% increase in Recurring EBITDA and a doubling of net profit for the first half of 2024-2025. These gains are attributed to enhanced performance in the Recycling business and a significant contribution from Elior Group. The board approved the financial statements, reflecting resilience amid economic fluctuations and a challenging metals market.
Recycling revenue experienced a slight decline of 1.7%. Ferrous metals sales fell 11.5% due to decreased demand and competitive pressure from Chinese imports. However, revenue from non-ferrous metals rose by 8.4%, driven by higher unit prices. Despite these challenges, the Recycling business’s Recurring EBITDA increased by 17.2% to €143 million.
The Public Sector Services revenue dropped by 7.8% due to the end of a major contract and startup costs for a new one. Yet, the Group's overall Recurring EBITDA improved, reaching €162.1 million.
The Group maintains an optimistic outlook, citing the anticipated stabilization of recycled raw materials markets and strategic investments in high-value projects to support long-term growth.
