Destin Charity Wine Auction Raises $3.3 Million for Children's Charities
The 19th Annual Destin Charity Wine Auction, sponsored by the Jumonville Family, successfully raised $3.3 million. This event, held on April 26-27 in Miramar Beach, Florida, drew a full house of over 600 guests. The funds collected are destined for 17 children's charities across Northwest Florida.
The auction featured various high-value lots, including an exclusive trip to Anguilla and a private jet experience to a Rolling Stones concert, achieving significant individual bids of $100,000 and $65,000 respectively. A notable $69,750 was also garnered from a James Bond-themed dinner event. Over the auction weekend, a total of 52 live lots, 16 cellar lots, 27 super silent lots, and 123 silent lots were presented, featuring rare wines and luxurious travel experiences.
All proceeds from the auction are allocated to projects and programs benefiting children through DCWAF's partnered charities, such as AMIkids Emerald Coast, Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center, and others. The presentation of the funds will occur on August 29 during a private ceremony at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa.
