Deutsche Bank Plans to Issue Additional Tier 1 Capital Instruments
On November 24, 2025, Deutsche Bank AG announced its decision to issue Additional Tier 1 (AT1) capital instruments. These securities aim to enhance the bank’s Tier 1 leverage and solvency ratios, vital for maintaining financial stability.
The issuance, planned to be of benchmark size, includes a first call date set for October 30, 2034. Authorized by the 2025 Annual General Meeting, the issuance excludes shareholders’ pre-emptive rights. Securities will be issued with denominations of €200,000, with Deutsche Bank acting as the sole bookrunner.
These instruments will be issued under “Regulation S” and will not be registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, limiting certain offers and sales within the United States.
