Canada's premier ski and snowboard resort, Banff Sunshine Village, invites visitors to explore its summer offerings. The Sunshine Meadows, accessible via the longest gondola ride in Banff, provides breathtaking views of the Canadian Rockies. At 7,200 feet, the 22-minute ride is surrounded by majestic mountains and valleys.

This summer, the Sunshine Meadows is in full bloom with Alberta's famous wildflowers. Nestled in Banff National Park, it offers hikers alpine scenery, vibrant wildflowers, and diverse wildlife. The area boasts six well-maintained trails catering to all levels, providing 360-degree views of the Rockies.

Home to over 300 plant species and 53 types of mammals, the Sunshine Meadows features three alpine lakes, creating a serene habitat. Visitors can extend their adventure with a stay at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge, offering 10 kilometers of trails right at the hotel’s doorstep.

The hiking and sightseeing season runs from June 28 to September 22, 2024. Tickets for the gondola ride are available online, with adult tickets priced at $68 + GST and youth tickets at $35 + GST.
