DON'T NOD Announces Release Date for Aphelion
Paris-based video game publisher and studio, DON'T NOD, has announced the upcoming release of their new sci-fi action-adventure game, Aphelion. The game is set to launch on April 28th, 2026, on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Developed in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), Aphelion promises an immersive experience grounded in scientific knowledge. It will be available as an Xbox Play Anywhere title and included in the Game Pass on its release day.
A new trailer titled “Persephone” was unveiled at the Future Games Show, highlighting the exploratory journey of ESA astronauts Ariane and Thomas on the uncharted planet Persephone. Featuring a voiceover by Eric Geynes, the trailer blends a sense of hope with underlying foreboding.
Aphelion exemplifies DON'T NOD's creativity and commitment to innovative gaming experiences while incorporating authentic space science into its narrative core.
