Dormakaba Finalizes African Business Sale and Montreal Site Consolidation
Dormakaba Holding AG has completed the divestment of its Sub-Saharan African business, transferring ownership of dormakaba South Africa (Pty) Ltd. to its local management as of December 31, 2024. The business will remain the exclusive dormakaba partner in the region under new ownership.
In Montreal, dormakaba sold its previous manufacturing and engineering site by the end of December 2024, consolidating operations into a new facility. This move aligns with the company’s strategy to reduce complexity and enhance performance.
The financial details of these transactions have not been disclosed. Dormakaba maintains its focus on innovation and growth, despite the strategic divestments and consolidations.
