Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA Enhances Focus on Sustainability and Quality with New Executive Board Role

Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA announced the appointment of Stefanie Hirsch as Chief Sustainability and Quality Officer, effective from July 1, 2024. This decision, confirmed during today's Supervisory Board meeting, marks the introduction of a dedicated Executive Board position focusing on sustainability and quality—key areas that intersect all the company’s processes.

Stefan Dräger, CEO, emphasized that sustainability is integral to Dräger's core values and is critical for future operations. Quality, also highlighted as one of Dräger's foundational strengths, will be equally prioritized in this new role. Stefanie Hirsch, with an extensive background in Quality and Regulatory Affairs, joined Dräger in 2018 and has held significant leadership roles within the company.

Previously associated with Abbott Diagnostics and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Hirsch brings a wealth of experience in quality management across various international contexts. The new board position underlines Dräger's commitment to embedding sustainability and high quality in every aspect of its operations.
